Hi, I'm Kevin Shalkowsky

Hi, I'm Kevin Shalkowsky

I spent 8+ years at Intel as Lead User Experience Designer for Intel.com worldwide and Creative Director for the Intel Software TV video studio. Working across both digital experiences (300 million+ users/year) and video storytelling (200+ videos/year) taught me how to communicate technical complexity in whatever format serves users best.

My focus has always been on making technical complexity feel simple, especially for users with accessibility needs. I approach every project as a design systems thinker, building scalable solutions that balance what the business needs with what users can actually accomplish. Colleagues know me as the calm, adaptable one when scope changes or unexpected constraints emerge mid-project. Before Intel, I worked in the advertising industry and I contributed to broadcast design systems at two Emmy Award-winning news stations. Outside of work, I volunteer with Make-A-Wish Oregon. Whether it's design work or helping bring joy to kids at events, it keeps me grounded in what matters most: creating meaningful experiences for real people.
